Do I need to travel to the US to be on the show?

Not necessarily. We are willing to post-produce your professionally recorded videos. If possible, we prefer to shoot video of you/your group together in a pre-recorded interview. This will allow you the greatest amount of exposure.

What kind of groups are you looking for?

We prefer, but are not limited to, musical groups that are best described as fringe, comedic, avante gard, etc, or mainstream artists/groups that wish to perform new or unusual material.

How many songs can we get onto the show?

Usually one or two songs, plus an interview.

Our drummer is from Assgasket and our Eb didjeridoo player is from Lower Axoeuyuiu. Can we be featured in both time zones?

We aren't so concerned about which particular time zone you want to play. Of course, some time slots have much more interest than others and tend to fill quickly. We will do our best to accommodate your choice of time slot. The Brent's Live New Year's Show reserves the right to play your materials at any time during our New Year's Eve Broadcast or not to play them at all. Remember, you aren't paying anything for this.

Are there some formalities that need to occur before The Brent's Live New Year's Show will play our music videos?

Yes. Please write to us at the address below with some description and samples of your music, your first and second choices for time slots and whether or not it will be possible for you to travel to our studios for a live interview. If we decide to feature your group, we will send a follow up email seeking any further necessary information. Our legal department will then forward a contract for you to review and sign. At the point that we receive your signed contract we will look forward to working with you!

Are there any limitations on the music that I can submit to the Brent's Live New Year's Show?

You may not submit any music that is not fully your own. We cannot accept derivative works that you have copied in part or "sampled" in any way, no matter how slight, from any other sources. The only exception is that you possess a license from the original author with further authority which would allow you to sublicense your work for performance on our show.

Other than an appearance on the Brent's Live New Year's Show, what other promotion is available?

Your musical group will appear in our 'Talent' section on our web page along with a link to your group's homepage. The Brent's Live New Year's Show is currently in the top 5 search engine results for all of our own search terms. Don't spend thousands of dollars on SEO (search engine optimization) for your own homepage; let our high ranking boost your group's home page.
